The beautiful city of Los Angeles

There will always be something exciting to do when you’re in Hollywood. Our centrally located hotel is only a short distance from some of the best restaurants and attractions in the city. Relieve your stress at the spa, or buy a new outfit on Rodeo drive. After a day of shopping, catch a show at one of the world­ famous music venues or take the kids to the LA Zoo. If you don’t have a vehicle, there are numerous public transportation options for those staying in one of the hotels on Sunset Strip in Hollywood.

Because of Sunset Plaza’s prime location, guests have dozens of dining options to choose from. Whether you’re in the mood for American cuisine or you prefer food with an Asian flare, Hollywood has something for you. Dine like a cowboy at the Saddle Ranch Chop House where the tagline is, “Steak, Bulls, Rock N’ Roll.” If you’re into the culinary flavors of foreign countries then try Cravings; a beautiful Italian/ Mediterranean restaurant with gorgeous indoor and outdoor seating. Burger lovers can visit The Counter and build their own burger from scratch. If you’re in the mood for cafe dining try Carney’s Hot Dogs and Burgers or visit the Griddle Cafe for a freshly prepared breakfast. For those who want to dine in style, try Pink Taco’s mexican grill or eat at Sur, the hot restaurant founded by Lisa Vanderpump of BRAVO’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Shopping

Hollywood knows fashion. While you’re here, stop by one of many shopping centers in the area. You may run into a celebrity shopping for their next big event. Do you have a high class fashion sense? Then take a trip down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. With stores like Burberry, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Versace, you can create an outfit that rivals some of Hollywood’s hottest stars. Visit the Beverly Center, one of the biggest malls in Los Angeles, and check out all of your favorite stores, Hollywood­style. For a luxury boutique style shopping experience, take a stroll down Melrose. You can also visit The Grove, a celebrity hot spot, and shop at high fashion stores like Michael Kors and Barney’s. Enjoy a mixture of Hollywood nightlife and souvenir shopping at Universal CityWalk.

Spas

Why not get pampered while you’re staying in Hollywood? The city has a lot to offer when it comes to spas and saunas. If you’re looking for a laugh, check out the world famous Laugh Factory or the Groundlings Theatre; an improv house with alumni like Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig, and Kathy Griffin. Or you can catch a concert at the Hollywood Bowl; an outdoor venue with the Hollywood Sign situated in the distance. Cruise to Downtown LA and visit the home of the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers at the STAPLES Center where you can catch a game or the next big concert. Enjoy a concert with the most innovative sound technology at the Dolby Theatre or the famous Greek Theatre. You also have the opportunity to see the newest Hollywood releases and events at the world­famous TCL Chinese Theatre.

Attractions

Hollywood and the surrounding area has many amazing attractions. Take a tour of the set where some of the biggest films were created at Universal Studios Hollywood. After the tour, have a thrill on park attractions like Jurassic Park the Ride and The Simpsons Ride. If you’re in the museum mood, visit the Griffith Park Observatory and peer deep into the galaxy with powerful telescopes; for free! Or you can visit the Getty Center and enjoy 20th Century European Art. You may not get a chance to see all your favorite stars, but Madame Tussaud’s Hollywood wax museum may be the next best thing. Visit one of the several exhibits and see life­sized wax statues of Leonardo DiCaprio, Kobe Bryant, Marilyn Monroe, and hundreds more.
