Los Angeles is filled with elegant destinations, venues and restaurants. One of the appealing things about the city is the glitz and glam that comes with Hollywood. If you are looking for a night out where you can dress up and enjoy a night on the town, here are some elegant restaurants in Hollywood to enjoy. If you’re planning a trip to visit these restaurants, make sure to stay at the Best Western Sunset Plaza location to stay nearby.
Yamashiro has been an iconic destination in Los Angeles since the early 1900s. The building was originally made after a palace that the designers saw while traveling through the Yamashiro Mountains located near Kyoto, Japan. The building was eventually turned into a restaurant and sits atop the Hollywood Hills, offering guests an incredible view of Los Angeles. Here, enjoy entrees such as crispy duck leg confit, shoyu glazed black cod or black angus filet mignon. As all as sashimi and delicious desserts such as s’mores fudge brownie all in an incredible setting.
The Eveleigh is located in West Hollywood and specializes in farm to table plates inspired by American and European cuisine. The rustic setting offers indoor seating as well as outdoor seating on the garden patio, which features bay, lemon and olive trees offering a beautiful shaded atmosphere. Since the restaurant specializes in farm to table produce, the menu is constantly rotating as seasonal items are served. Dinner is from Sunday-Wednesday from 5-10pm and Thursday-Saturday from 5-11pm. Lunch and brunch is also served at the Eveleigh.
The E.P. Asian Eating House offers cuisine with a strong Thai influence as well as overtones of Vietnamese, Fijian and Chinese influences. Enjoy fresh oysters, sticky spare ribs, curry and many other options. Stay inside for the full dining experience or head upstairs for the beautiful rooftop bar that that serves speciality cocktails. At the rooftop bar, late night small plates are available starting at 9pm.
